7. Arranging to move
Your solicitor will inform you of the completion date once contracts have been exchanged. The completion date is the date when you will be able to move into the property.
You may need to arrange for a removal company to move your belongings to your new property.
If you are moving from rented accommodation, you may want to end your tenancy on the completion date. However, you should not end your tenancy before a completion date has been agreed as you could end up homeless.
